Steel Rack Product Manager

Schaefer Systems has an excellent opportunity for the right individual in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position calls for a Steel Rack Product Manager to support the outside sales force and customers in all aspects of the design, estimating and production of custom steel shipping racks used as returnable packaging.

Candidate must possess excellent communication, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills, and be extremely detail oriented. A commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, along with experience in Microsoft Windows/office computer systems is required. Additional skills required are Auto-CAD or CAD design and a working knowledge of steel welding and the fabrication processes used within this manufacturing setting. A definite plus would be fluency, both written and verbal in Spanish, but it is not a requirement. Position will require up to 50% overnight travel.
