Lack of space and limited storage capacity
The family-run business Zurbrueggen, a furniture
shop in Eastern Westphalia, decided to restructure
its distribution logistics and opted for a centralized
system.
SSI Schäfer Noell had the apposite answer.
The overall deal with fully automated preparation
for sequenced loading onto trucks in connection
with high storage capacity and stock handling
rate was convincing.
As later extensions of the salesrooms in Unna
were not possible, the experienced general contractor
SSI Schäfer Noell planned and implemented
a fully automated service and logistics center
of impressing dimensions on greenfield site for
Wohnzentrum Zurbrueggen GmbH & Co. KG.
