Multi-level pick modules are a space-efficient arrangement of carton flow rack, pallet flow rack or bin-shelving stock locations arrayed on each side of a picking aisle. The stock positions may either be static or dynamic. Static positions consist of carton or pallet flow-rack or bin-shelving supported either by pick-to-paper, pick-by-light or pick-by-voice technologies. Dynamic pick modules are integrated with an automatic storage & retrieval system to dynamically swap out products behind the pick faces that are no longer needed with products that are needed to complete picking operations.
